We welcome you to the Fondation Dora project submission platform hereinafter: the “Platform” (https://projects.fondationdora.org/fr/).
We invite you to carefully read this “Privacy Statement” which governs the use of this site.
Introduction
Protecting your privacy is one of our major concerns. With this privacy statement, we inform you which data about you is processed, the reasons for the processing and how you can object to this processing.
These personal data are processed only in accordance with legal requirements, according to this privacy statement. When you create a user account and/or submit a project, you expressly consent to the processing of your personal data according to this privacy statement.
Type of data collected
You can access the Platform without having to provide any personal data. However, you must create a user account to submit a project.
The Platform and the database are not hosted by the Fondation Dora. Optimy SA, located at 1380 Lasne, Tienne de Renival 18, Belgium, acts as data controller and processes data in the context of providing its services to the Fondation Dora. In this context, Optimy SA has undertaken to take the appropriate functional and technical security measures to protect the data against any unauthorized processing of the data. Optimy SA has also undertaken not to communicate the data to third parties without the prior written consent of the foundation.
The personal data concerned are those transmitted when creating a user profile, when you submit a project and/or when you communicate directly with us. In any case, these personal data are processed exclusively in accordance with this privacy statement.
Data transfer
Individual information is only used to enable us to process requests you send to us from the site. As host of the Platform, Optimy SA has theoretical access to the data. They are not, except legal obligation, transmitted to other third parties.
Data retention period
The data is only kept for the time necessary for our professional relationship with you or as long as we have a legitimate interest in it. Thus, the data is, in principle, deleted after five years of inactivity of your profile.
Use of cookies
A cookie is a small text file that websites store on your computer or mobile device when you visit them. It allows these sites to remember your actions and preferences (username, language, font size and other display settings) for a given time, so that you do not have to provide this information each time you visit these sites or navigate from one page to another
The Platform includes three cookies, which are essential for its proper functioning. For this reason, they do not require your consent.

To exercise your rights, simply send us a letter by post.
